Great fly for the price. I buy a lot of these. Spend my time tying other flies.

Cabela's Bulk Dry Flies-Lt. Cahill
Date:
For the price, you just can't beat the bulk dozen flies that are available in a wide assortment of patterns. I buy these flies to fish the trout stream I have running through my ranch and have had great success with them. You can sure spend a lot more for the same patterns through a fly shop. When the trees that were killed during the forest fire that ripped through my place four years ago started falling into the creek and eating more flies than the fish, I was glad I could replace them with out selling my first born. For basic patterns that work all over the country, the bulk dozen flies are a great deal and more importantly-they catch fish!!

Trout love these
Date:
I tried these in the evening when may flies and other bugs were low to the water and had trout jump out of the water for them. They hold fast to the trout, but are easy to remove in the Catch and Release streams. They stay dry and their action mimics the real bugs.
