Although I am not entirely dissatisfied with the flies I purchased from Cabellas, I have had a few issues with them. I have had, on at least three occasions, the hook break off when I had a fish hooked and was in the process of landing it. These were in the#16-18 range and caused me to loose the opportunity to land these fish. I don't know whether the manufacturer is putting too much pressure on the hook when tying or what, but it is disheartening.
The broken hooks were not all from this order. I also encountered similar problems last year.
