Scotty 1106 Powerpack – 60"

The most popular Scotty electric downrigger. All Scotty electrics have the same speed, power and amp performance under the Propack. Telescopes to 60" for that extra reach but still collapses down to just under 36" for easy storage. Works great for big boats. Comes with a swivel base and one power grip plus release. This unit has a lifetime warranty.

Not all it seems

After being told that the package would include the weight and comlimentry fishing rod I was dissappointed when niether of these arrived.Have been told that niether of these are available and so have the added cost of purchaseing both items.
Be aware of exactly what is included and be prepared to be dissappointed when items are not included with your order.
Package arrived safe and promtly within the time given.

I snagged the bottom and bent the arm a bit.
Now the cable falls off the spool and I can't use it at all.

tired of companies poor designs

My downriggers screwed up on my boat so I went out with a friend who claimed these new Scotty's would give us a good outing.
How wrong he was, and how disappointed I am.
Within an hour we were back on shore .
Broken belt(no spare) on one downrigger, and as I grabbed the ball on the 2nd downrigger to set a release the cable got a little slack which allowed the cable to fall off the cable spool(naturally) WHY??? in the world would they design it with the cable spool laying down flat.??
Of course the cable would fall off...and we couldn't get it unjammed.
At least I can get the spool off my Big Jon to get tangled cable out.
Not a happy camper.
