Cannon IntelliTroll delivers the most comprehensive, accurate readings of the water below, thanks to a revolutionary new sensor that gauges speed, temperature and depth right at your lure. All the critical information you need to be a better angler – absolute lure depth, true lure speed and water temperature – are displayed digitally on a large, easy-to-read LCD. True lure speed (displayed in mph, kph or knots) allows you to optimize bait presentation. True depth (displayed in feet or meters) helps you keep the lure in the strike zone. Temperature (displayed in °F or °C) helps you find temperature breaks. Attaches securely to downrigger cable with an easy-on, easy-off clamp. Operates up to a maximum depth of 250 feet. Probe activates when the speed wheel enters the water and automatically turns off after 15 minutes of inactivity. Double O-ring construction prevents water intrusion. Integrated wet switch preserves battery life. Probe operates on four AA batteries. IntelliTroll system includes: digital display monitor, sealed underwater transmitter, RF antenna, 200 ft. of coated cable, power cord and user’s manual. For salt- or freshwater use.

This unt rocks. I have not had a problem with this unit. The digital read out is extreamly easy to read. It never flashes even during depth adjustment. Great readings down as far as 150' with minimal added sway back from the bomb. Instalation is very easy. Does not have a transducer all the info (bomb depth, temp at the bomb and speed at the bomb) is transfered through a coated cable (included). Works great with 4 energizer batteries. Battery life is optimal i put a new set in 20 hrs ago and they are still going strong, my average fishing temp has also been 45 degrees with minimal effect on battery life. Well all i have left to say is if your looking for a temp troll unit stop looking because this is the one is for you

I bought this product with great hopes. Having True depth on a speed and temp device just makes all the sense in the world. I guarantee your fish finder doesn't have any blow back. It was so nice not having to try to calculate blow back. The display is very nice, easy to read and did not flicker between speeds as I've read some of the digital displays do.
If I only fished above 70 feet I would never have returned it. The problem is I could rarely get readings below 60 feet. I went through 5 sets of batteries in one season. Admittedly I wasn't using great batteries and had just purchased a set of lithium batteries to try and realized the the return it time was just about up so I returned it.
It came with light weight coated cable and I spent the money to buy the 150lb coated cable.
It was very disappointing to return it and I haven't been able to bring myself to buy a device without the true depth feature that this has. I wish I could have gotten it to work.
