Richard Wolters starts you and your seven-week-old pup out right and takes you through the finishing
process. Develops a dog capable of thinking for itself if you can't assist. 100 minutes. DVD.
Old, poor production values, outdated everything except for the training method. Wolters looks like Einstien and talks like Elmer Fudd. At one point, he wears knickers in the field.
Don't buy this if you expect to see a modern production. This thing is as old as it is effective. If you want a sound training method from 49 days on...look past the video quality and listen to what Wolters has to say.
My son and I bought this as a training aid to train his pup. We both thought this DVD was old and outdated. We did not see anything helpful to our starting a pup from the beginning, which is what the review said it was for. I would not recommend this DVD as a training guide for a new pup.
I only gave this two stars because this guys reputation preceeds him. I found the videos to be broken in presentation and incomplete in every aspect. I suppose if you read the book, then you would have a better understanding of his training methods, but I purchased the videos in place of the book. I don't recommend it, and I returned the video.
