Worst thing I ever bought from Cabelas

I had this 2 days and the knuckle Broke. I tried to fiberglass it and it broke again. Quick set up, good storage, the the quality is terrible. Avery needs to go back to the drawing board on their materials. I have always liked their human blinds, but this thing is a real piece of junk.

Fragile Construction

I bought the unit based on a fellow hunter's recommendation. It sets up quickly and looks fine. But during the first few hunts the knuckle of the blind supports broke 3 times where the fiberglass rods meet the knuckle. I repaired it with JB Weld as well as fiberglass. It broke again in a new knuckle when my black lab entered the blind.
I finally gave up and plan on getting another brand for next season.

My dog loves his blind it keeps him dry and warm. He 80lbs so he is a descent size boy so the blind is a little small but he is able to get in turn around and lay down in it fine. It seems to be pretty strong as well he has flopped around in it a bit and it didnt break at all, though if your dog cant stay still and flops to much I am sure it would break. Light weight and very easy to conceal. We love it and would recommend it to anyone. Only reason for the 4 out of 5 is I feel it could be a tad bigger. Though to big would be harder to fit on a boat and a little heavier if you are hiking!

excellent dog blind

I have hunted with my dog in this blind for several years. She is an 80lb BLF and even though we are weekend warriors we have killed hundreds of birds with her in it, both in the states and in Canada.
