I keep this product in my Bug out Bag and in my bird hunting bags. I've used it on one of my pointers when he got a nasty gash on some barbed wire. Treated him with iodine, closed up the wound and he was back hunting. Good product.

Haven't had to use it and hope I never do, but it's in my first-aid kit ready if I need it. My only complaint is the directions are on the inside of the sterile packaging, had to google the directions.

Easier than Sutures

Got this to go in the emergency kit for things larger than scrapes or falls. The staple kit pulls skin together so bleeding can be stopped easier, and healing can begin, not for cosmetic reattachments. A wound will have a tendency to scar but these are so SO much better than sutures if you're as blood squeamish as my wife or me so this was our best option. Picked it up on sale at Cabelas with cheap shipping and now we're all set.

Doesnt look anything like the picture, but thats ok because it still works. Light weight and portable. Comes in a sterilized package, inside of a zipppered bag. Worked great on my friend who cut himself with a knife last year. The staple remover was also helpful a couple days later, but I do wish it came with instructions even though it is pretty self explanatory.
