I've never owned any other kind of heating pad for an animal, but I did a lot of online research and found a lot of unhappy consumers who had bad experiences with other pads. Those pads were cheaper than this one; some a whole lot cheaper. And I guess you get what you pay for.

This pad is well made. Very sturdy. My only gripe is that the temperature control is counter-intuitive; when you turn it on it goes from high to low. Also, I would have appreciated an LED light indicating that it was ON versus OFF. But these are small things. You learn the specific needs of every electronic device you own. You simply can't generalize.

My cat is very happy. And that makes me very happy. Thanks for carrying such a high quality product. I like saving money, but I hate buying junk.

My dogs are kenneled outside and I worry about the cold. Instead of getting them another bed mat for them to chew up, I decided to purchase the pet heating mat. Now I have a difficult time getting them out of their kennels, it's too nice and warm in there. They slept comfortably in -20 the other night. No worries! I haven't noticed a bump in the electric bill either.

heated mat for pets

I have had this product for, at least 7 or 8 years, I bought it for my tabby cats, hoping the warm surface might discourage them from laying on my warm truck hood, well it worked and today I am buying my first replacement cover for the product. Yes this an expensive thing for a pet, but when I see my cats in total bliss, it is really worthwhile. It also has an edge on it with holes in the plastic, which I use to place screws to hold it in place.

Outdoor heated pet matt

this is the best thing for our dogs. they live outside for 1o hour days in Vermont. Some cold days in wintertime will be appreciated now with this matt shared by our 2 Chessies.
