I have a 130lb yellow lab that loves this bed. he is 9 and starting to stiffen up. He can stretch all the way out on this extra large bed. We would buy it again

Good product- poor covering material

Dog loves the bed and would rather sleep on it than try to get on my wife's furniture. The colored portion of the cover material is holding up well after 5 months and many washings and the foam and bolster are both very easy to remove and replace for washing. My dog likes to scratch at her bed before lying down and completely destroyed the sherpa fleece portion of the cover in a matter of 2 months. I like the rest of the bed enough that I am having the fleece portion recovered in canvas by a local seamstress. Quality foam and filling, plenty big.

I concur with the two others on the quality of the fabric on this bed. It has great foam thickness for an older dogs comfort. It is a shame the sherpa cover sheds away so badly and from washings. We too are down to no sherpa on some parts of the sleeping surface and only the fabric. My other dog that is getting older loves this bed so I am scouting out other ortho beds because this quality of fabric is not wearing well at all. It's a great bed, but figure out what went wrong with the material end of it. : )

The dog absolutely loved this bed. However, be prepared to vacuum twice a day as the cover sheds terrible. In 6 months time most of the Sherpa sleep surface had worn down to the lining. Great design, poor quality cover.
