Cabela's Bolstered Series Rectangle Dog Bed

These rectangle beds have a raised, cushioned 4" berber bolster around the rim that resists shedding and provides the perfect headrest for your dog. The bed measures 36" x 48". The machine-washable, zippered heavy-duty poly/cotton cover won't hold excess hair while the hypro-loft, polyester-filled liner and 4" lofted fleece bolster add the cushioned comfort your dog will appreciate during his naps. Made in USA.

Excellent product, my yellow lab took to the bed instantly and sleeps on it day and night. Easy to clean and take care of.
If your dog needs a place to rest, you need to by the best!! Thanks Cabelas!!!

Good bolster and cover, but useless padding

I've had this over a month, so am ready to evaluate it.

My 45 pound Husky and 55 pound Border Collie mix tested this dog bed immediately. The padding squashes down so that there is no padding beneath them. The padding poufs up all around them like a balloon instead. I added my own padding inside and that makes it usable.

The dogs like the bolster. The cover and zipper appear to be sturdy.

It seems to me that if the manufacturer did any product testing at all the problem with the filling would be immediately obvious. Guess they did not test it with actual dogs.

My Pup loves it.

I bought this bed for my 4 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever. She must be in love with it, because she is always in it. She likes to curl up between the pillow sections most of the time when she in bed for the night. Other times when she is just lounging, she lays on her side. The 48 x 36 is a perfect size for a 80 pound dog.

My dog is 10yrs old now and this bed is warm and has a lot of cushion so she is a happy dog on it. Seems well made and she also likes the built in pillow cushion.
