This product is outstanding, lasts through many seasons. My experience is that when fish hit they are hooked and remain on the hook until netted. I would never troll silvertrons, blue fox spinners or kwikfish without one. I am not sure but I believe they also act as an attractor. I get bit when others are not.

I use these on all of my dipseys with more success than I had without these. Those dipseys are like pulling a garbage can lid through the water by its handle. So when a decent salmon would hit, half or more would break off on the strike. I don't lose many salmon that hit spoons attached to those garbage can lids since I started using these. It'd be great if they came in a clear/transparent rubber.

I have used these for about 3 years now in the Straits of Jaun de Fuca and they finally wore out after 3years of saltwater beating. For their price, three years of use in saltwater is a pretty good investment. I just bought more and will continue using them.
