Get a Strong Fly Attached, and hang on!!
Date:
Chrome works great all morning long, then put one on when the sun starts to dive the horizon, add a Fly with a sharp hook, and Get ready to hang on! We have a camera downrigger system, and to watch it dart an dash in the water, and the King-Dogs come out of nowhere like they are possessed and attack the thing. Works great. Experiment with which hole on the tail end you tie fly, squid or spoon to, they can all have great varying action. In late June through July, I use the hole opposite the fin at 2.3-2.5 mph, the fly has a jellyfish like pulsing action, and the king dogs love it. Must Have a "Doctor!!"
