Can't securely mount on perch and doesn't keep away blue heron from fish in pond. Rotating head owl of owl, not balanced.

The Owls work !

Bought a pair and followed the instructions to move them around the back yard. It works, squirrels are now scarce and not roomping on the pool and not chewing up plants, eves and decks.

The owl works great but the crows are too smart. They figured out the owl within 24 hours and then resumed crushing their chestnuts on my flat roof.

This Bird really earns his keep!

The primary reason I got this "Owl" was to sit it on my pool deck in the hope that it might keep some of the other birds away and I wouln't have to be constantly hosing off bird droppings all the time. I must admit that at first I was skeptical, but this decoy has exceeded my expectations and beyond! I've had it for a month now, and the only thing I've had to pick up on my deck is an ocassional tree leaf here and there that the wind may have blown on it! This is a very realistic looking decoy, the head is balanced and mounted on a pin, and the slightest breeze causes it to turn around giving the impression that it's alive and really "looking" around. The birds are scared of it and they just stay away. It really does work and to keep the real birds wondering, the only thing we do is change it's location every so often, say from one side of the deck to the other and that's it! So far so good! Overall, I feel it's been worth every penny!
