Dock Edge Flip-Up Dock Ladders

Hinged design allows these ladders to be stored out of the water when not in use. The bottom portion of the ladder locks securely in both the up and down positions, so it will not swing when being used or accidentally lowered from the raised position. Strong 1-1/2" tubing provides a sure grip for adults, yet is small enough for safe use by children. Extra-wide 3-3/4" steps. Made of Galvalume, a combination of steel and aluminum parts. Quick, easy assembly with the included stainless steel hardware.
Available: 3-step, 4-step, 5-step.

This product has a very weak hinge system. It will not hold
near the 400 pounds it is rated at. Mine failed the second day it was used.

There was only one review when I bought the item. I thought I was saving money, getting the cheaper ladder. This is a very flemzy product and I doubt it will last long even with light weight people using it. For about $40 more you can buy a much stronger aluminum flip up ladder.

dock edge flip up ladder

After only 2 days of swiming and using this ladder to get back on the dock it was broken. The hindge plate that locks it up goes through the pipe on the side of the ladder. When you climb the ladder the plate tears the side of the pipe. very poorly made ladder.
