It is a great apparatus to have in your tackle box, if you fish lakes. It works as advertised and dives to a prescribed depth when trolling. You can adjust the release tension with a pair of pliers. I love it.

I got this for my dad for Christmas and he loves it! He was so excited to use it and is looking forward to possibly getting another of the different size to troll at different depths. This is perfect if you can't afford a downrigger, especially at this price!
