One of the most advanced units on the market, this feature-packed weather station monitors several different weather measurements, including temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, wind, rainfall, and it forecasts the weather 12 to 24 hours in advance using graphical icons. Rotary dial control allows easy access to weather data. Bar graph shows 24-hour history of barometricand rainfall data. Clock automatically sets itself to the U.S. Atomic Clock and adjusts for daylight-saving time. Wind sensor provides information on wind speed, gust and direction. Displays dew point, wind chill, heat index and three levels of temperature and humidity trends: rising, falling or steady. Includes Virtual Weather Station software to store and view weather data on your PC using the built-in USB connection. Customizable weather alerts. Moon phase icon. HiGlo™ backlight. Good weather station

I got this station just less than a year ago and am very pleased with it. I mounted the thermometer on the north side of a large tree so it rarely gets direct sunlight. It has worked very well in temperatures from the 90s down to below 0. I've compared it to a professional weather station that's less than a mile away and they are very consistent. It does need to avoid direct sun or the reading goes way up. The wind guage is mounted on a 7' post and gives good readings as well. The rain guage works well for rain but not for snow. We usually get mostly snow here except for some summer thunderstorms. So I bring the rain guage in for the winter. I mounted it on a 6x6 post that I sunk in the ground about 4' high and away from any obstacles. All the guages are 60-80' away from the house and there's no trouble getting readings on the display stand inside. A very handy device to have if you're interested in the weather.

I haven't had any troublles with this at all, everything seems to work like it should even the weather prediction feature. I was kinda disappointed about one thing though. They had mounting brackets and a pole for everything but the rain gauge. That is the only thing I haven't set up yet as I can't figure out a good level place to put it.
