Discussion:
This product works as advertised. I enjoy the fact that it updates the information very frequently. It also seems to be very accurate. I can't speak too much on battery life, but I've had it running for one and half months in cold weather and it is still fine (using lithium batteries). Another note worth mentioning is that the wind gauge uses a telephone cable to hook to the main sensor. A very long cable is provided but this makes positioning this device complicated. I ended up making a well vented box for the main sensor (it must remain out of direct sunlight and weather) and mounting the wind sensor on that, hiding the cable within the design, and then mounted the entire unit to a fixed object in the yard. Looks good and so far works great. And this isn't a big deal, but the buttons for changeing the display and programming, etc are on the back of the unit. So when this is wall mounted you will have to take down to view other channels or make changes. It can however, be used on a shelf or table. I only gave it four stars for those reasons, but this is a great product as far as functionality goes, just spend a little extra time setting it up and enjoy.
