This was just what I was looking for. We have had it for only a month but it does what it says, easy to read, not obstructive in our window, and it seems to be accurate. It may read a degree or two more than it actually is but it is against the window which could affect it somewhat. We have a yard light that I can use as a backlight to read the temp in the dark. You do need some kind of light in the background to read it in the dark.
