It's like having your own private meteorologist at home. Instant Transmission is the latest wireless
transmitting technology exclusively developed and designed by La Crosse Technology. It completely
updates and transmits outdoor weather readings every six seconds so that you can monitor
meteorological changes as they happen. The iT Intelligent Forecaster uses the data it
collects to actually predict high wind events, storms, frost, fog and other weather and transmit
information instantly to your display. The LCD shows barometric pressure with 12-hour tendency,
atomic
clock time in 12- or 24-hour modes, indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity and the maximum/
minimum temperature and humidity reading for the day. The outdoor sensor can be positioned up to
330
ft. away. Mount the unit on a wall or use the provided detachable stand. Receiver uses three AA alkaline
batteries (not included) and the sensor uses two AA alkaline batteries (not included).
