This is the end result of more than a decade of research and refinement by nationally renowned goose hunter Fred Zink and world-champion decoy carver Rick Johannsen. Their ultimate decoy creation takes a goose spread to another realm of realism. Durable electrostatic full-body flocking, dead-on colors, amazing feather detail and precise body postures flat-out duplicate live geese. Under all lighting conditions, these fully-flocked decoys duplicate the feather sheen of real feathers. Avian-X decoys are so detailed they even mimic male, female, dominant and subdominant birds. This attention to detail harnesses the power of individual-goose realism, turning a decoy spread into a lifelike flock. Best of all, Avian-X decoys are exceptionally durable. They’re made of advanced plastics with the perfect amount of all-temperature, impact-absorbing flexibility. Seamless heads and a direct-connect head-attachment system eliminate splitting, (NOTE: It is recommended to permanently attach the heads with PVC glue). Finally I can put dead geese in my spread, unlike when I hunted with my GHG's. I used Gorilla Glue instead of Recommend PVC cement. The bases are a difficult on uneven ground, use metal tent stacks. Other than that these dekes color scheme is more real than GHG'S black Canada dekes. Makes sure you treat them with care these are not throw and go dekes. Buy them after the season when they are on sale since they are kind of expensive.

glued heads stink

These decoys are beautiful. They are by far the best looking i've used. That being said, the bases are too small for uneven ground and the head connections stink. I would rather not lose the flocking on a decoy right off the bat because of pvc cleaner or glue. I dont think you can beat the realism of these deeks I just ordered 6 more and I will try to be more careful with the cleaner and glue. Just send them attached will be fine.

Great Decoys

I just bought the new Zink Avian-x AXF series decoys. Before when i goosed hunt i used just silhoutes and shells. Now that i bought these i feel I am a much more comfortable hunter using them. They show 100% more realisticty out in the field. I limited out in just 15 minutes using these decoys, in a January hunt where i live that is great! My buddy has full body Bigfoot goose decoys and he was hunting a couple fields across from me that day and he didn't start shooting at geese until after we left. Even from a greater distance these decoys look spectacular and they are spectacular. Thanks Zink!!

I hunted about twenty days with these decoys and they produced record results. On the Ice they stand up ,even with wind, and look AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
