Not much to say,they are a big hunk of lead and they hold my decoys inplace.Gave 4 stars because they do what they should but cant give 5 cuz said big hunk of lead just is not that exciting.

These torpedo shaped weights are the best, I have ever used, in my 45 years of duck hunting. Not only are they very secure, in mud and ice, they do hold your decoys in place, in wave and wind conditions. Use the right size weight for the decoy you are using.

Tanglefree Magnum 8-oz Decoy Anchors

The wind and waves on the St Mary's River can get pretty foul, but these anchors are perfect for daily decoy sets. One still gets the tanglefree line advantage.
For sets that are left overnight, I clip a more biting anchor with a 12 inch line just above the tanglefree anchor for a two anchor rig. The second anchors (attached with a substantial fishing swivel clip) can be carried separately and attached on the site.

I use these 8-oz Tanglefree weights in conjunction with the Tanglefree Decoy Cord and Decoy Cord Adjusters with my goose floater decoys. The Tanglefree stuff works great!
