These do tangle, but if you lay them in the boat correctly, and "learn" the system, they are an incredible time saver. Very durable as well. I've had mine for 2 seasons and there is very little sign of wear. I used the 6oz/54" and hunted everything from Laker Erie open water to back swamps and they were AWESOME!!

Purchased first set a couple years ago. Very well made will last for years and no more tangles I use a decoy bag and throw about 3 doz dekes in that bag without winding cord. LOVE 'EM!
