Open Zone ZigZag Swimmers Decoy

  • Erratic zigzag behavior mimics real ducks
  • Two powerful propellers
  • Integrated weed guard
The erratic zigzag movement of these decoys mimics the swimming motion and behavior of real ducks. Random movement gets a passing flock's attention, then draws them in feet-down close. The two powerful propellers are shielded by an integrated weed guard. An electronic circuit controls the motors for remote-free operation. Decoy uses two C batteries (not included). Mallard drake only.

Waste of money
Date:
What a waste of money! They work when you first turn them on and one minute later in the water they shut down. I thought it was a great idea and bought three of them and none work!
Save your money!

Don't Waste Your Money
Date:
Poor, Poor keel design. As soon as decoy turns it wraps the dedecoy line around the motor/props. Used regular decoy line, tangle free line and heavy mono line. Had 3 swivels attached, at decoy, midway down the line and from the weight to the line, nothing helped. Also battery compartment leaks.

Terrible
Date:
I wish I could give this 0 stars. I purchased this with high hopes. Before I ever used it, the contact plate broke off (much like others have described). I solved this by putting some aluminum foil in the cap to get it to turn on.
When I took it hunting, the motor wasn't strong enough to swim the decoy. I even tried hunting in the woods with NO wind. The motor couldn't swim the decoy through the duckweed that was on the water.
It's a great idea, but their execution of the idea is terrible. SAVE YOUR MONEY.
