Hunter's Specialties Push Pole and Attachments

The 10-ft. aluminum construction on the Push Pole telescopes down to 50" for storage and sports a matte green finish. Wrist strap and grips make it easy to hold on to on wet, frosty mornings. The Push Pole Foot has a "Nested" foot design for optimum performance. The powder-coated, spring-loaded foot is made with a stainless steel spring for rustproof performance. The 3-in-1 Push Pole Paddle attaches to any 1-1/4" push pole. The line retriever slots help pick up your decoy spread fast. Grooved design allows easier rowing and serrated, concave end for pushing off trees and stumps.
Available: Push Pole, Push Pole Foot, 3-in-1 Push Pole Paddle.

not a good buy
Date:
Paddle came not containing the snaps for the paddle. Went ahead and put a bolt through it. First day out went to extend the paddle none of the snapps worked would not stop at any of the extensions paddle came out of the pole and sank to the bottom. Buy a different paddle!

Not well made
Date:
This pole just does not hold up well. The locking buttons collapse into the pole and my pole bent. They need to improve this pole.

Hunter's specialties push pole
Date:
To be fair, this is a nice design in that it telescopes and takes up little space when collapsed and provides both an emergency paddle and decoy grabber (hooks on oar blade).
My buddy and I each bought one. On the first time out I dropped the pole when I saw a bird and it sank out of sight. If I had been thinking I would have filled at least part of it with foam. My buddy's pole broke in one of the first few uses.
My sense is that this is almost a good product and could be with a little more strength and flotation. It would be OK as a back up pole intended for light duty.

push pole
Date:
A push pole is a necessity in any fishing boat. When you look this item up it appears that you get the pole along with the attachments. That is not the case you must buy each piece individually.
The pole and the foot that I bought works as it should. This pole collapses shorter than the other one I have. It is easier to store in my boat.
