the problem i had with other silencers is they fly out and come apart really quick. ive been using the whisper buddies for about 6 months now and have over a 1000 shots on my PSE bow maddenss. they are holding up great. they arent flying out of the string beacause the string is separated 4 ways istead of just 2. i also had the whisper peep installed last year and love that as well.

First i bought the whisper peep and then i HAD to try the buddies. love love love them. i also put them om my recurve as well as my compound. have been shooting them all summer and had great preformance from them all. make sure that you read the instuctions on the package and install the buddies by splitting the string 4 ways instead of 2. i actually went on AIM's webstie and they had a video for the install. and on a lighter note they really look cool on the string.

I highly recommend this silencer, it noticeably reduced noise and gained 5 fps. I only use one at a time as it is the initial configuration for the Hoyt Katera.
I´ve already released something about 100 arrows with it on my string and looks like new.

worst string silencer i ever bought

bought this product thinking it would outlast all the other silencers i've tried because of the inner core but ended up being the worst one i've ever bought(would give it negative stars if i could). i put it on my strings and didn't even last 20 shots. claims to be for high performance bows but not to sure if it is.
after the top one split on my string i took off the bottom one and even the bottom one was starting to split, but i noticed that there were two small holes inside one of the two slots were you would put the strings in, and maybe because i put it into the slots that had the holes, mines split very easily. THERE WERE NO LABLES OR INSTRUCTIONS OR ANYTHING ABOUT THE HOLES SO DIDN'T THINK TO LOOK FOR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. ONLY NOW THAT I WENT BACK AND REALLY LOOKED AT THE PICTURES I NOTICED IT, BUT IF YOU ZOOM IN ON THE SECOND PICTURE OF THE INNER CORE YOU CAN SEE WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. maybe if you put it in the other slot without the holes you might get better results than i did. don't think i'll buy another pair to see if that was the problem i'll stick to my faithful cat whiskers.
