Teflon® Fabric Protector Technology

Fabric That Performs
Teflon®-coated, tightly woven, 13-oz, cotton canvas shell actually repels water before it has time to seep through the fabric. Because of the Teflon® coating, it's wind- and water-resistant and highly durable. Teflon fabric protector technology uses a unique finish that forms a barrier around individual fibers. This barrier lowers the surface tension of a fabric, enabling it to repel liquids, and the barrier serves to protect against both oil- and water-based spills. The liquids either bead up and roll off or are easily wiped or blotted away. Dry soil and dirt can also be brushed off with ease. Teflon fabric protector is used in all types of fabrics, including cotton, wool and even the finest silk, without affecting the look, feel or breathability of the fabric.
