Great Bow
Date:
Lite, fast, compact, smooth release, accurate but a bit loud. the speed makes up for the loudness. Top pin in scope good out to 30 yds. This is my first crossbow but it has put alot of confidence in my bow shotting.

Good choice for the hunt
Date:
This is my 2nd and favorite...fast, compact, lightweight; great in tight, brushy woods. Shoots very tight pattern at 30 yds. when properly sighted in and using QUALITY
carbon bolts. Got rid of the scope when I purchased and switched out to a TruGlo holographic sight.
Zero problems with cables or cams. Gets the job done and well worth the price.

Fairly good purchase
Date:
I am an avid bowhunter but tore my rotator cuff this past summer. Tried to rehab shoulder but could not get it done in time for season. Purchased the crossbow in October. Sighting was a problem. Would not stay consistant at 30 yards. 3-6 inch variation. Not sure if its the bow or the scope. I don't know enough about crossbows to make determination. I did kill a good buck at 25 yards. He ran about 75 yards and crashed. I hit about 3 inches high and 3 inches left of where I aimed. I will go back to my conventional bow when my shoulder heals.

Absolute Junk we have shot Horton for years
Date:
Man my wife & i bought 2 of these Horton TRT's. we took them home shot first one it wouldn't group on target. I gave up, next day noticed the right cam was trashed. had to be from factory. we took it back to Cabelas 150mile drive, got money back figured i would keep using the Horton Summit (old reliable). Next day opened 2nd box my wife shot it, shot good about 15 to 20 times then the cable lide broke & part of it fell out. We couldn't beleive it. We took in back too got money back. not sure now what to buy
