Excalibur Phoenix Lite Stuff Crossbow Package

  • Generates speeds up to 305 fps
  • 175-lb. draw weight
  • Compact design
  • Includes Varizone multiplex scope and other accessories
Peak performance in a small package. The Phoenix crossbow generates 305 fps using a power stroke of only 14-1/2". The 175-lb. draw weight produced by the forward-mounted limb construction has more energy than you’d expect from a smaller crossbow. Weighing just 6.3 lbs. and measuring 37-1/2" long, it’s ideal for the smaller-stature hunter who doesn’t want to sacrifice speed or power.
Power stroke: 14-1/2".
Draw weight: 175 lbs.
Length: 37-1/2".
Weight: 6.3 lbs.
Camo pattern: Realtree Hardwoods HD®.

Outstanding Product
Date:
I purchased this crossbow to replace a Barnett Wildcat that was made in the late 80's to early 90's because I had some bent bolts and could not find replacements for the short bolts it used. I had looked at the compound crossbows. I remember seeing an advertisement on the outdoor channel about how tough the Excaliber crossbow was. The hunter in the ad stated if he dropped a compound crossbow out of a treestand, he would be the owner of 100 pieces. I normally take ads with a grain of salt, but this one had me thinking. I bought this Phoenix bow despite its somewhat formidable price tag (though there are some even higher) and am not sorry I did. This weapon is extremely accurate at 20 yds. I, too, came close to ruining some bolts when shooting at the same spot on the target. The Hamburg, PA. store staff were thorough in briefing me on how to cock and fire the crossbow and all safety precautions when using it. I even fired it at the indoor archery range. What more information do I need? The DVD that came with it was also very informative.

Phoenix quality
Date:
When I lived in Ohio I got interested in crossbows because of a torn rotator cuff. I wanted a recurve for its silence and it didn't take much research to settle on Excalibur. I have hunted for 4 of 5 years with it. My scope is sighted at 25 yds and I can bullseye at 35 yds all day long. Do not aim at the same spot with 2 consecutive arrows...
I have taken 2 does - both passthru & they travelled less than 45 yards. The 1st doe came in from my exteme right side and I couldn't rotate to shoot her right-handed. So I switched and shoot her off-handed with my left. I took a 100+ lb. feral hog last year. I have drawn a permit for a public land hunt and can't wait for October!
Even though this crossbow will shoot well out to 50 yards, only an irresponsible hunter would attempt the shot. I use a fixed 3-blade broadhead for best results. I promise you will love this package!

Awesome
Date:
This is the most impressive quality item I have ever purchased. The fit, finish and workmanship is spectacular. When you assemble it, it includes a step by step DVD showing you exactly what to do, and taking it out to shoot the first time, I literally only had to make 2 clicks down on the scope, and one click left and it was sighted-in perfectly. The accuracy is unbelievable. Firing off a bench rest, literally dead center bulls-eye shot after shot. I can't wait till bow season opens!!!
