Good for one fish

These baits work well but tear easily. If they were a little sturdier I'd buy more. They work well for both rigged straight to a hook or as a trailer. But, as it is, due to the expense and lack of longevity I have found better value from other baits.

Love the Flappin' Hog!
Date:
I love using these rigged Texas style on 3/0 hooks, with just about any type of bullet weight...usually 3/16 to 1/4 oz.
The one that works best for me on local lakes is the watermelon/black/red, and I wonder why I even bother buying other craw style plastics. Just cast it out, let it sink, and hop or twitch it back.
I should just pack the tackle bag full of these, because they do tear off and tear up easy after one good bite. They were flying off yesterday, when the bass were eating them up and nothing else was working for me.
There are so many appendages for the bass to grab onto, compared to those with just claws as well. You're bound to feel the nibbles!
