DT's tough cousin ventures into rough aquatic neighborhoods itching for a rumble. Swimming with a hard action and a high-vibration variation of the classic Rapala motion, DT Thug is versatile enough to fish in all conditions. Bounce this fearless lure off rocks, grind it along the bottom or rip it through weeds. Runs 4-8 ft. Per each.

Excellent bait for shad lakes

this is THE bait to troll when fish are suspended around 10-12 feet and feeding on shad. 1.2-2.2mph seems to be the speed range that works well. I catch huge crappie and bass during the hot summer months trolling open water and have great success with the helsinki shad color. i've tested this lure against a regular DT and against KVD series crankbaits and the DT thug easily catches 10x's the fish the other baits i've tried. The hooks definately help with hookups.

The thug

I used this bait for the first time at Smith Mountain Lake last month and wore them out. This bait has great action, digs great, gets down in that hot zone much faster. There isn't enough I can say about this bait. Within minutes of using this bait I landed a beautiful 6lber and a few more 3 and 4's. It was a great day.

Bad Crank Bait

Ive seen all the pros throw these things but when i got one and tried it out, did not catch a single fish. Went out again and not another fish, tried 4 diffrent colors but nothing worked. Terrible lure.

it does what it says bounces of rocks logs and digs the bottom caught several largemouths first time i used it great action
