I installed this tang sight on my Pedersoli .45-70 Sharps 32" barrelled rifle. This rear sight with the Globe front sight has dramatically improved my target results at 100 yards. Even with my 55 year ol bi-focal eyesight, I can shoot better groups than I could with the rear semi-buckhorn and blade front (original) sights. Installtion was easy and improved shooting was immediate.
I purchased this sight six years ago to put on my T/C Hawkens muzzle loader. The factory sights were okay, and I tryed some fiber optic sights but I was not getting the gruops that I wanted. After I got it shooting a good gruop at 25 yards I set a target at 75 and 100 yards I was shooting one inch gruops at both ranges. The front sight is a fiber optic and I shoot 100 grains of Pyrodex RS with a patched round ball. My best shot to date with this setup was at the bottom of a soda can at 75 yards, and i dead centered it.
