I am impressed with this flint & steel set. It came with a great piece of flint (about 4 inches long), the steel, and plenty of cloth to make char-cloth. The instructions were great & there are plenty of videos on youtube if your more of a visual learner.
Very easy and rewarding to start a fire with this kit!

Easy to follow instructions. Real deal this, and easy to use takes a bit of practice to get a fire but thats what they do!.

Difficult to use; purchased for Boy Scout troop; flint of poor quality breaks aparts easily; However, directions are easy to understand . Not a kit for begining firestarters
