A very handy item to keep essentials at hand

This piece of gear is great for keeping you glasses, cell phones, wallet, keys, along with many other sundry items that normally get left on the floor of your tent. Why you can even have a cold beverage while lying in bed.
For the cost I would definitely consider getting one if you are buying the cot.

The Cabela's cot-side nightstand is the best thing to happen to cots since Sleeping Pads. No more fumbling for the flashlight i tucked under the cot in the middle of the night and easy access for my rifle bedside and a cup holder!. A+++ product

Nightstand for sleeping cot extraordinaire

Excellent idea so much so that I purchased two of them for both sides of my deluxe sleeping cot - it holds countless items within reach and before owning the nightstand, I used to bring small tables or bins to store items for long camping trips. Since purchasing this nightstand, I've saved on valuable space and my two nightstands can be easily rolled and stored. All my family and friends are envious!

This cot-side add is great and has lots of room for almost anything you'd want to keep next to you.
Unfortunately, we purchased two of the 'Lightning' cots, (the fold fast kind with out an end bar), so this cot-side nightstand didn't fit like it is intended. Placing something under the cot-side nightstand gives sufficient support to make it usable, so, not a huge problem.
