Funnel your cooking oil into a storage container without spills. The filter removes impurities and extends the life of
the cooking oil. Cool the oil to 100°F before using the funnel.

I tried my hand at deep frying a turkey a couple time this year. Turned out well. The cleanup and salvaging of your oil is a bit of a pain. But this funnel helped to make it easier. It's big enough to pour a good amount of oil in. I use the big filters that are available for this funnel too. I put the filter in the funnel like a coffee filter. I poor the cooled oil into the filter and let it drain back into the oil container for restorage. Works out pretty good. The oil does drain slowly through the filter, so it could take about 30 mins to pour 3 gals of dirty oil back through this. But, it does capture all the debrie and gives you cleaner oil for reuse. The oil will still look dark when you pour it through the filter, but becomes clear again after a few days as the microscopic stuff all falls to the bottom of the oil container.
One of the biggest problems with the clean up is straining the oil and saving it for another use. The filter is outstanding as it catches as the very fine particles from the batter. Highly recommended.
