Standing 18" tall, this steel burner with safety rings is perfect for a fish fry or crawfish boil. Includes
hose, regulator, Acme threaded connector and adapter.
I purchased this to heat a large container of water to boil elk and deer heads in for making european mounts. The burner is lightweight, easy to assemble, and puts out a lot of heat.
This unit will be returned! While assembling it I noticed the cast iron burner part had leftover casting flash at the inlet to the ventury blocking 1/3 of the air inlet. The air damper lip did not fit over this cast iron part to make an air seal. The air damper was not adjustable due to this flaw. The propane gas connection to the cast iron burner part did not seal tight and also prevented the air damper from adjustment. Left over flash at the burner end of the cast iron part would prevent an even flame. QA?
I purchased this as a replacement for an old Brinkmann burner that was worn out, and the flame created a tremendous amount of soot. The new burner was very clean and works very well.
Did not heat up nearly as what it should. The description did not state the psi on the regulator. I couldn\u2019t get my regular size turkey frying pot to boil the water on a hot day of June. Going to try to buy a higher psi regulator to see if that does the trick.
