Does not work unless you filter when HOT. Even then I can pour the oil through a manual filter faster than this one works. Save your money and filter through cheese cloth...

So much easier and cheaper now

Buy extra filters, because they must be discarded after each use because of the material the filters are made of. Put the cool, filtered oil in the spare refrig. in the original container and you can get four turkeys out of one setup of oil

Used to have the electric oil filter that worked pretty well. Thought nthe battery operated one would be good since you didn't need electricity. Guess what didn't work half as well and died after a couple of uses, not from battery but just quit.

Purchased this battery oil filter, and could not get the motor to run. Purchased new batteries and that did not solve the problem. Returned this item and purchased the funnel filter instead.
