I just purchased one of these reels and spooled it full of powerpro. I really like how compact and light it is and it fished really well. The bearing adjustment allowed me to tighten it to where it wouldn't backlash when it hit the bottom. That allowed me to stick it in the rodholder while dropping if I needed to grab a bottle of water or gaff a fish.

I thought to replace The Shimano Torium
with this reel.
Why would they make a reel with the tongue
that cannot fit properly into American rods like
the Shakespeare ugly stick or the Rapala RSC
rods. It's too large for these newer rods, and it's
loose after maximum tightening.
I hope I can still return it for refund after 2 or 3
months since purchase.
