A fully adjustable magnetic cast control system sets these versatile lever drag reels apart. 10size- Solid graphite leverdrag- good value

I like this reel, the SL10- how it handles and fishes. It easily took 500yds 50lb Powerpro. I have caught 40" bullreds and small-medium sharks with it from piers and shore. The drag wasn't even really tested. I can cast with it a bit wo backlash. I hope to really test it against some blackfin and yellowfin tuna in LA, I think it will do fine for what it's intended.

Good Choice for the money

Solterra is a good afordable reel. It is smooth and strong. I have put the SLR-10L reels to the test over the years, trolling offshore for Albacore and Salmon (Washington Coast area) and Yellowtail on Sea of Cortez. It casts OK too. The rounded constuction is easy on your wrist when holding the forward grip of the fishing rod. The clicker seems to wear down a bit quick but the parts are easy to get and easy to install.

Okuma needs to make the size 10 much smaller. It's almost identical to the size 15?

Great Reel for the money. Caught a 72" Strugeon with this reel using 50 lb. Braid.
