Cabela's search for new, interesting and innovative products for our assortment is an ongoing process. At this time, Cabela's is not available to assist in the development or manufacturing of new products. Once you have a finished patented or patent pending product, you may submit product information for review. We have three product review periods: January for Fall review, March for Christmas review and July for Spring review. The deadline for information submission is one month prior to the review periods.

Once you have a finished product, please submit:

• company profile
• product description
• pictures of finished product
• wholesale pricing (sample submission is not required at this time)
• completed New Product Review form (pdf of form found below)

Please be advised, if samples are sent at this time, they will not be paid for or returned. Product review takes about 4-6 weeks. During the review process, if presentation appointment or samples are required, the buying office will contact you.

Cabela's does not consider unsolicited ideas. As a leading specialty retailer, and the world's largest direct marketer, of hunting, fishing, camping and related outdoor merchandise, Cabela's has access to a wealth of knowledge of outdoor merchandise and is continually developing new products to please its customers so it is likely that Cabela's has developed, been exposed to, or is already working on similar products and technology.

The purpose of this policy is to avoid any confusion and disputes if Cabela's products, technologies, advertising, promotions, processes, materials, marketing, and the like, might appear similar to ideas submitted to Cabela's.

Since Cabela's does not wish to consider unsolicited ideas or materials, the following terms apply to all submissions.

(1) Your submissions and their contents will automatically become the property of Cabela's, without any compensation to you; (2) Cabela's may use or redistribute the submissions and their content for any purpose and in any way; (3) Cabela's has no obligation to review the submission; and (4) there is no obligation to keep any submission confidential.

To the extent a submission is made under terms inconsistent with the terms and conditions of this policy, the terms and conditions of this policy govern.
