- Label all tapes with your name, address, and phone number.
- Print, fill out and send waiver and information forms with any tapes submitted for the show. Click this link, waiver and information forms PDF, to download a PDF file of the required forms. PDF is the designation for Portable Document Format that can be viewed by Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is a free downloadable program that is easy to install and use. To download and install this program, go to this link http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html and follow the simple instructions. Each tape submitted must have its own forms.

| Submission Guidelines |
|
- If you have video footage of an outdoor experience that you would like to be considered for use on an episode of Memories in the Field (also referred to as the "Show"), please send it to: Cabela's Memories in the Field, One Cabela Drive, Sidney, NE 69160. You may submit as many different videos as you wish. Tapes will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. Persons wanting to enclose a descriptive letter along with their tape(s) are encouraged to do so.
- You will receive a Cabela's Gift Certificate for each video you submit that is used in an episode of Memories in the Field, which you should receive after the episode is first televised. There is no limit as to how many times you can receive a Gift Certificate. No additional Gift Certificates or other compensation will be given for additional airings or re-runs of the original episode.
- Everyone is eligible to participate. Persons under 18 may submit footage, but written parental consent will be required before their footage will be considered.
- All video submissions are subject to the terms of these rules and all submitters agree to be bound by these rules. Cabela's reserves the right to amend these rules at any time.
- If you want your video returned, you must specifically request that your video be returned on your "Informational Form". Cabela's reserves the right to destroy all videos for which return is not requested. Cabela's is not responsible for lost, damaged or misdirected tapes under any circumstances. Please keep a copy of your submission.
- All video formats are accepted. Home DVDs and CDs will be accepted for initial screening and review, however the original tape must be provided to Cabela's upon request in order to meet eligibility and broadcast requirements. If not provided, the submitted video will not be eligible for inclusion in the program.
- If you are submitting multiple tapes in one mailing, please fill out a "Photo and Video Consent and Release" and an "Information Form" for each video submission and attach the appropriate forms to corresponding tapes.
- By submitting video footage and permitting it to be included in an episode of the Show, you thereby grant Cabela's an exclusive and perpetual license to use the video provided such use is in conjunction with the Show. Because this license is exclusive, you shall not be permitted to submit the same footage for use on any other television program.
- Each submission must be solely the original work of the person submitting the video. By submitting a video for our consideration, you warrant and represent that you are the rightful owner of the submitted footage, that the footage may be submitted and broadcast without obtaining permission from or making any payment to any third party, and that your submission does not infringe on any third party's copyrighted material, trademark or other intellectual property rights. If your video is chosen for inclusion in an episode of the Show, you will be responsible for obtaining signed copies of the "Photo and Video Consent and Release" (which shall grant to Producer the right to use such person's name, voice and likeness) from all persons appearing on the video before your submission can be aired on the Show. A parent or guardian must sign the "Photo and Video Consent and Release" for minors appearing in a submission. Failure to provide requested releases and/or consents will result in disqualification of the submitted footage. This "Photo and Video Consent and Release" is available at the top of this page by clicking on the "waiver and information forms PDF" link. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the submission of a video constitutes the submitter's permission for Cabela's to use the footage (and the name, voice and likeness of the submitter) in and in connection with the program and all exploitations thereof, including, without limitation, advertising and promotion. Further, such submission of video footage constitutes the submitter's representation that all consents and permissions necessary to grant Cabela's the unrestricted right to use the footage have been obtained. By your submission of a video for our consideration, you agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Cabela's from any claim or liability arising from or related to the footage, participation in this television show, appearance in an episode, and/or acceptance or use of any gifts.
