The kit is worth buying for the Hoppes solvent, Hoppes oil, and patches alone. Definitely worth the price

The cleaning rod itself is way too weak. Broke on the first use cleaning a ruger 10/22. Where the first and second rod segments join bent while using the swab wrecking the threads and now has a spur that would scrape the barrel.
