MTM® Clay Target Throwers

Challenge friends and family with fast-paced sporting clay action wherever it’s safe to compete. These lightweight throwers let you bring target-shooting fun anywhere. They don’t need electricity to operate or heavy mechanical devices to fling targets – only a little arm power. Unlike bulky automatic or manual throwers that are fixed in place, hand throwers let you launch targets at constantly varying speeds and unpredictable angles to increase the difficulty of each round. Push your marksmanship to the next level.

  • The ergonomic EZ-Throw II throws clays faster and farther than most mechanical throwers. This one-piece plastic thrower uses innovative "power curve" engineering to throw consistently smooth birds. The technology harnesses the kinetic energy of your arm and focuses it for the most power. It only takes a little practice to throw jump birds, curves and ground skimmers like a pro. It won’t rust or break. Throws right or left handed.

  • The 10-position adjustable EZ Double-Throw puts out challenging doubles and singles. It’s the only hand-thrower that can launch two targets on top of each other to replicate a quail covey flush. Its patented technology lets you adjust the horizontal and vertical separation of doubles. Launches targets up to 60 yds. with a baseball-like swing. Throws right or left handed. Kit includes a pair of EZ-Throw II launchers and the handle assembly.

  • The EZ-Throw MR launches sporting clays up to 95 yds. It’s the fastest hand-thrower MTM offers. Its far-reaching clays simulate the high-flying paths of geese and doves. Throws right or left handed. Kit includes an EZ Throw II and the handle assembly.

I bought the one with the long stick you can take on and off for throwing further. the thrower works great, havent had the chance to use the stick yet. highly reccommend for a fun time.

Keeping it simple

I really like this product because it is so easy to take anywhere. I have a foot launch clay thrower and it is fine if I wanted to shoot alone. But it is hard to take anywhere and difficult to store. The hand thrower can be tucked in a backpack and forgot about until you want to use it. It takes some practice to get used to but once you figure it out you can make some amazingly difficult shots for the shooter as the clay does not go to the same area everytime it is thrown. Great functional product and economical too!

I've had one of these for over 15 years, and it still works like new.
I use it to supplement my other thrower, mixing it up to challenge myself and my shooting buddies.
Takes a little practice to get proficient, but lots of fun after that.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is because it doesn't like the cold (below freezing temps), gets stiff and hard to load the clays without breaking them, but other than that, a great product.

Unless you're planning on only doing a little bit of shooting this is alright. Might aswell spend the extra bucks to get an actual thrower. Not completely worthless though.
