This firearm is manufactured in Italy by F.LLI Pietta.
The rate of twist in the barrel rifling of this firearm is
approx. 1 in 36.
The rear sight blade is moved side to side by loosening or
tightening opposing screws; one on each side of the sight
frame. Loosening one side allows the other screw to be
moved the opposite direction. The opposing screws should
be snugged when windage has been adjusted.
The rear sight assembly is held onto the frame by 2
slotted screws. Loosen both (front & rear). In front of
the rear screw, there is a small slotted set screw. To
raise the rear sight, screw the set screw down, so that it
presses against the pistol frame. To lower the sight,
turn the screw away from the frame, allowing the sight
assembly to drop down closer to the frame. Once it bottoms
out against the frame, no more adjustment is possible.
Both mounting screws should be snugged up when adjustments
have been finalized.
If more adjustment is needed, the blade slot would need to
be modified, a higher blade obtained, or the load changed.
Front sight is not adjustable, but could be filed down if
needed. Front sight blade/ramp is screwed to barrel.
