Hand-fitted ergonomic shape for ambidextrous calling
Sound ports increase volume
Built-in predator reed for distress sounds
FOXPRO introduces a radical look and feel for a slate pot call. The Crooked Spur Slate’s hand-fitted ergonomic shape allows ambidextrous calling for comfort and consistency. Use the custom shape to make multiple hen and turkey sounds like soft and subtle purrs, putts and tree yelps. Strike different areas of the surface to attain variations in pitch and realism. Sound ports on the top and bottom of the call increase volume and sound distribution – ideal for super-loud cutts, clucks and yelps to locate distant gobblers. Hickory striker has a raised hip on the end of the dowel for extra comfort and to help maintain proper, consistent finger position with the striker. Because a turkey hunt can quickly turn into a predator hunt, the call has a built-in predator reed to make distress sounds. Made in USA.
