The fabric is treated with Insect Shield®, which contains Permethrin; it’s colorless, odorless and lasts the expected lifetime of the garment (70 washes). This treatment repels mosquitoes (including those carrying West Nile virus and malaria), ticks, ants, flies, chiggers and midges (no-see-ums). The Halo provides sun protection with a UPF rating of 30+, dries quickly and has upper back panel ventilation to keep you cool and increase mobility. Roll-up tabs keep your sleeves up and out of the way when necessary. Multientry napoleon chest pockets have security pockets, and a floating pocket loop holds your sunglasses. Machine washable. 100% nylon. Imported.
