Mixed with our MTx rods’ premier blend of high-modulus graphite is a 3M™ Powerlux™ matrix resin that incorporates nano-sized silica particles to increase strength, durability and sensitivity, without adding weight. In fact, MTx fly rods are 60% stronger and 15% lighter than conventional fly rods. Premium components of the MTx series include ion-plated hard-chrome single-foot guides and a Recoil stripper guide; weight-reducing skeletonized aluminum reel seat with carbon-fiber insert; and 4A-grade cork grip.
