Decent trolling spoon...
Date:
I bought two of these - one red & white & one blue & silver... they wobble great & the eyes pick up a lot of light. Using for trolling behind a kayak paired with some in-line flashers. They're pricey - I've lost one already, but will keep these in my arsenal.

One of my go to lures.
Date:
The ole Red Eye is one of my go to lures for fishing deep water lake trout. It is one of the first lures I put on my down riggers at the start of every trip. I have also had good luck using them on pike.

good old standby
Date:
i have been fishing with red eyes for 45+ years.
when i was a kid in minnesota and canada.
it worked sometimes when the real old standby, red&white daredevils, weren't cutting the mustard.
always have them on hand
