We designed these spoons for big northern pike, lake trout and any other fish that’s attracted to the wobbling flash of this popular spoon style. Whether you’re casting, or even trolling, the wobble and roll of our Canadian spoons will excite any passing fish. Solid, nickel plating provides the strength for these time-tested spoons. Smaller spoons also are ideal for trout, crappie and bass fishing. A portion of the profits on the Patriot spoon go the Disaster Relief Funds. Made in USA. Per each.

I regularly use Cabelas Canadian spoons in sizes from 3/8oz. to 1 1/4oz. , in my opinion they have a superior wobble to Eppinger Dardevle and represent great value for money .
The only area that could be improved is the choice of hook . As supplied the treble hooks are too small relative to the spoon they are fitted to : this is not a major issue for me , I replace the trebles with siwash hooks , but it may be a problem for other users .
Of more concearn to me has been the fact that bare blanks of this spoon appear deleted from both the catalog and on-line . The plain brass blank in 3/8oz. size , fitted with a size 1 siwash hook and a 2inch curl-tail grub has caught me an awesome number of 4 - 5lb Pike over the years - I consider it an essential of my tackle box and want to see it back on sale soon !

The spoons are a great for the price. Colors are good and the action is excellent. They do need to be available in 1/4 ounce as well as a copper version. I use the 5 diamonds and the red and white with good luck. Made in the USA is a big plus.

These spoons are a must for pike. They are wider than other spoons I have tried, and have a great wide wobble action. The red/white and yellow diamonds worked the best. They worked good trolling, but also worked great casting. They are wide enough that they really flutter on the pause. Overall a great lure.
