Throwing large muskie baits requires a top quality rod with a lot of backbone for both the cast and the hookup. To meet the tough task of tackling these bruisers, Musky Innovations has introduced a series of muskie rods to handle all techniques. Longer rods make it easier to cast lures farther with less effort, are less fatiguing and make it easier to cast lures farther with less effort. Five powers are available in length from 7' to 8', with an emphasis on longer durable rods. Longer rods also generate more hook-setting power due to the greater sweeping motion of the rod tip. Longer rods also take up slack line and compensate for line stretch and quickly absorb the impact of the hook set. Made of 100% t-tech graphite with a micro-weave construction for both durability and feel. Eleven Fuji Alconite guides are used, instead of the standard eight. Additional guides provides smoother casts, especially with larger lures, and less wear and tear on both the guides and the rods. Fuji reel seats provide a solid platform for anchoring your favorite reel. Portuguese tapered cork handles have longer handles and fore grips for increased comfort and plenty of leverage.
