G.Loomis IMX Casting Rods

Serious fishermen know a state-of-the-art rod is crucial. These are the rods that originally put G.Loomis on the map. Their super-high modulus graphite makes them unbelievably sensitive, telegraphing every rock, stump and weed you work your lure over, every twitch your bait makes. Each rod is extremely strong and able to haul in fish from long distances and great depths. They also are some of the lightest rods on the market, so you can cast all day without tiring your arm out.

Greatest Rod I Ever Purchased

My friend turned me on to G-Loomis rods a couple of years ago. This rod is one of the best I have ever purchased. The sensitivity is unbelievable and the rod is so light weight. I am using it for jigs and plastic baits and can feel the difference when the bait comes across rocks or soft bottom. The quality of this rod is excellent. I fish several times a week and can't wait to get on the water and use this rod again. I know I will be buying more.

best rods around

I have purchased several g loomis imx rods. I used to fish with Falcon rods. Imx rods are lighter, more sensitive,yet more durable.
When I need (or want) another rod it will be a g loomis from Cabelas.

Amazing Castability and Power

I purchased this Gloomis MBR 782 for throwing top water plugs a country mile! This is my second 782. I love the distance combined with being able to still set the hook at the end of a long cast. I matched the rod up with 10 lb test mono. I will have one rod rigged with a walk the dog type plug and the other one with a popping style plug. This rod really is an all around rod that would also be great throwing crankbaits. This is the only Gloomis rod that I have two of. I love it.
